I bought this portable monitor for work to take with me on business trips. I used it at home first and it worked very well. The screen is a little dark, but you can use it. I took it on two trips where I carried it in my laptop bag. I was very careful with the bag. After the second ride the monitor stopped working. Everywhere black bars and a blue screen. If it's marketed as a portable screen, I think it should be able to travel without damaging it quickly.
