I was pulling my hair while troubleshooting a Mini DP to DP connection. I blamed the graphics card, the display, and the driver. Everything worked when I connected via an HDMI adapter, but this method did not allow me to get the full supported resolution from my monitor. I used the cable provided by my PC supplier. I don't know how, but I began to suspect the quality of this cable. I figured if I buy a new one the worst thing is 1 extra cord hanging out, no big deal. And now – he REALLY fixed everything. Crisp, vibrant colors, full 2560 x 1440 resolution, no flickering or "banding". I'm so happy. Trust me, the promised $10 reward isn't going to make me give 5 stars to a bad product. This is a solid purchase. In fact, I'll take my $10 and just buy another one just in case I need to hook up another monitor.
