READ the review for details; but the customer service is second to none even at Revain!

If you want to grate cheese like Pecorino Romano or hard Parmesan, look for a different grater. My first one cracked the drum after a few months, I thought I washed it with water that was too hot. When wearing gloves I usually wash with very hot water as I don't feel it through my gloves. My second broke after 2 months of use, but this time it was the shaft on the drum liner. See image. I contacted the company and told them it was broken and do you know what I got for it? Grilling. Nothing but silence. The best advice I can give is to look for something that looks like it's not meant for one-time use. EDIT: I got a message from the manufacturer. Nancy addressed my concerns and explained in detail that there was an issue with the manufacturing process that caused some devices to fail as I had experienced. Given that both come from such a close time period, both come from the same batch. Nancy has taken steps to do her best to fix the broken graters issue and I am pleasantly surprised by that. It's rare for a manufacturer/seller to appreciate a customer, let alone skyrocket expectations. I look forward to substituting the grater for our next lunch! I always thought there might be flaws, but how the company handles them is key to whether I would buy from them again. Based on my interactions, the company deserves my continued support. Edit 2: So we've been using the replacement for almost a year and it's been delayed. Since its white color matches our plates and cutlery, we mostly use it when we have lunch in the dining room, which is not the case every day. I also use it when grating chocolate for desserts.

Pros
  • Grater
Cons
  • Slightly shredded
