Holds many shoes but do not tip the box as all shoes will mix. The zippers are very, very tricky, especially in the corners. They are so finicky that I am sure they will break soon. The box is rectangular. I have a large double bed. I can't tuck two of these under my side of the bed without one sticking out. It's hidden by the ruffle of the bed, but I trip over it anyway. After trying to use this item for about a week, I noticed that I was wearing the same shoe all the time instead of interacting with it to change shoes or take them off. Difficult to get out from under the bed when carpeted. Today I'm donating one to Goodwill. I put most of my current (summer) shoes in a wheeled storage box under the bed. I still have the other one I ordered, I will use it for shoes I rarely use.
