These things are great! I use them with my lip products because I don't like sticking my fingers in lip balm or dipping it twice. I used ordinary cotton swabs but they crumbled and left little cotton fibers on my lips. I also halved them to make better use of them, but that was pretty excruciating. I just wanted something I could put in my purse and break it in half with my hands. These fit the bill perfectly! An added bonus is that the cotton is better finished and doesn't pill (hooray, there's no fibers left in my shine!). I'm also very happy that they are biodegradable and more environmentally friendly as I use so many. You also get a lot for your money. The good thing is that they come in separate boxes so I can keep them in different rooms of the house. You tick all the boxes; good quality, good price, practical package/design and eco-friendly. I use them for everything now and will definitely buy them again.
