I was very skeptical but I need blue blocking glasses until I go to my eye doctor next month. They reflect blue light on the surface and have a slight yellow tinge compared to white, but the grayness of the lenses doesn't give the impression that you're wearing "yellow lenses". The tint is very weak indoors and unfortunately the photochromic aspect doesn't show up in response to the bulbs, but it does work when you go outside. The lenses are tinted for a subtle sunglass effect. I work nights in a brightly lit office and often go out on bright sunny mornings so I can block out the blue light on my desk so I can sleep better when I get home and block out some of the bright sunlight when I do leave office so my head doesn't hurt immediately when I go outside. The color of the frames is more of a coral pink with an orange tint and I *hate* that part, wish they were more translucent but like I said this is temporary until I get the prescription for the transition lens with BlueBlock.
