Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Graphite Grey JanSport Big Student Backpacks and Casual Daypacks by Francisco Yim

Spacious and durable! The straps are uncomfortable.

I am a mother of two and we are out of the diaper phase. I don't want to carry around a diaper bag anymore, but I still need a backpack for all my stuff - snacks, water bottles, a change of clothes, tissues, etc. I've been looking for a while and this is my favorite so far. This backpack has 2 large compartments. I love how much space this backpack offers. I can only fit a first aid kit, 2 change of clothes, baby wipes and water bottle in one of the compartments. There's room on the side for a water bottle, and my 12-ounce thermos funtainers fit perfectly. There are also two front zip pockets. I put my phone, wallet, keys and hand sanitizer in one, and in the front smaller pocket I keep chewing gum and a few small items. There's a zip pocket at the back which I always forget so I didn't use it - but it's nice to have extra storage if you need it. The backpack is quite sturdy and wipes clean easily. I almost sent this backpack back because I don't like the straps. Not sure if it's a new design or the thickness of the straps, but they sit uncomfortably on my shoulders and dig into my neck. When I first tried it, I had a headache almost immediately after applying it. I chose not to return it because I had worn it to multiple places including a couple of outdoor farms and afterwards I felt uncomfortable returning it. . I've also looked at other popular backpack brands and it seems like this new thick curved strap is all the rage right now. I've solved the neck problem somewhat - I wear the backpack much looser than I usually wear backpacks, and it fits more comfortably. *** I am a 5 foot tall female. My husband has worn this backpack several times and he said he was not uncomfortable at all. He's 5'10" tall, so maybe the straps just aren't comfortable for small, petite people? If the straps were different, this backpack would be perfect.
