Attention thread tension!

I was very happy about this bed linen! I searched for Mountain Sheets and they were exactly what I was looking for. When they arrived, the first thing I noticed was how they felt. Not super soft as advertised. I washed them on the gentle cycle with baby detergent and they really started falling apart. I haven't even used them yet and the spikes go in all directions and the sheets look like they were made by a five year old. I have returned my purchase.
