At the time of writing, my beard has been growing for about 7 weeks. I have fair sensitive skin and coarse dark facial hair. So far I have been very satisfied with this product. The balm seems to absorb well as it leaves significantly less greasy residue compared to other balms I've tried in the past. Oil-based products often clog pores, leading to minor breakouts; So far I haven't had any problems like this with this product. The balm effectively relieves beard itching and prevents dandruff, which is associated with dryness of the skin underneath. The smell is subtle but noticeable in the immediate vicinity of the owner; it's not a balm that can be felt across the room, but rather one that only those who are close by will notice. I chose cedar and pine scents as they usually go well together and compliment other cedar scented products I sometimes use (body gels, face scrubs, etc.). The quality can hardly be surpassed in this price range; This is probably the best balm under $10 I've ever used and I see no reason to look at other options right now.
