I always liked Luminara but their battery life is not very long. I was hopeful that their technology had improved so a bought one. I thought I was buying a pair of candles with a remote. No, my mistake. I received one candle and the remote is sold separately. What a rip off! I will keep it because I found out that the remote I own is compatible and I do have a candle of my own to make a pair. I also bought A PAIR of candles from another company that was a cheaper price and that included a remote so don't think Luminara is expensive and not the best option. Shop around. Aglary is $30 cheaper and good quality.
