The blending directions are so random that it takes practice to get it right. If you feel it sting for a minute, you have the wrong proportions, or if it bleaches your skin and hair, you have left it on for too long. I use it all the time and it's very fast and efficient. I always soothe my skin with aloe vera gel after rinsing off.
