Yes it gives me a few extra ports but it also kills my Wi-Fi connection

Well this thing works great as a USB hub. I have two problems: 1. It's my fault for not reading carefully or thinking clearly. The cable used to connect it is 4 inches long, which is a lot shorter than it might seem. I just needed access to USB ports without having to drag the computer out of position - its length isn't long enough for that purpose. 2 - It renders the thing useless. The hub is destroying my WiFi. It took me a few days to connect the dots here as I live in a rural area with crappy internet but now I can have wifi connection okay - browse the internet then plug in the hub and it is away. As soon as I turn off the hub, Wi-Fi comes back. Apparently there is something in USB 3.0 that interferes with the work of wi-fi.so.
