Review on 🪑 Allsteel Mimeo Black Onyx Task Chair by Mark Toth

Elegant office furniture with a beautiful, understated design. The wheels turn great. The rollers have no play, but turn around their axis just as smoothly as the wheels. The structure is almost entirely made of heavy and durable resin. The chair feels light but not cheap. Hands are soft to my ideal firmness level. The seat cushion may be a little less firm than I prefer, but it's a reflection of what I'm used to. It's definitely heavier than the chairs in my living room. In terms of design, this is an understated chair. It lacks the cutting-edge Herman Miller Aeon aesthetic while still having the same level of adjustability and comfort - and I suspect durability. A sign of the understated aesthetic is the fabric covering the back, which, while like the Aeon Mesh, looks more opaque and less high-tech. rests on the post inwards, not outwards. Out-leaning armrests are a problem I've encountered with some office chairs, causing your arms to slide and move away from you when you lean on the armrests. It's not an adjustment issue, but in my experience it's important for the comfortable use of an office chair, and in that regard, as well as the stiffness of the armrest padding, this chair excels. 2) Watch the video I have attached for the exclusive armrest adjustment. Two loops in each armrest allow the armrest to move outwards a few inches, and you can also tilt it inwards if you wish. 4) Lots of height adjustments (I'm 6ft 1") 5) The seat moves back and forth a few inches. I read a review that said the seat was too small. I'm wondering if they have the seat adjustability Have noticed. May have had to move it away from the back of the chair. However if you want a short seat this might give you one. The farthest distance from the back of the seat is enough for me to find it comfortable but the lack of depth can can be a problem for some people 6) The chair's best feature, in my opinion, is the exceptional recline, which becomes rigid as you recline, allowing you to take a step at any point and basically stay there comfortably - recline immediately instead, as with most other office chairs (and when you're tense in the spring these chairs are hard to recline.) This is an exceptional chair in almost every way.I would e recommend, if the price is not right you vote.
