My daughter was always dependent on a pacifier; that's the easiest way to calm her down. When she was a baby (12 months and younger) we went through Wubbanub after Wubbanub and don't get me wrong she loved them and they were hard to lose and easy to hold on to for a child. So yes, they did their job. But as she got older, my daughter started chewing on pacifiers, which basically rendered wubbanoobs useless. She also wanted something firmer to snuggle with, but it had to be fairly light so she could easily carry it or we could easily tuck it in the back of the diaper and in the purse. I found this little bunny and quickly ordered it. I had few expectations. "Bunny" literally became an additional member of the house. She is with us everywhere. It's been lugged around playgrounds, lost (and found) at daycare, washed in the washer and dryer, and we didn't care. My kid carries Bunny everywhere, puts her to bed, everything. Bunny is very easy to care for. It has not broken after a good 2 years of constant abuse. It's fairly stain resistant - or at least washing it in the washing machine has always removed most of the accumulated dirt. The pacifier never fell out of my hand. It's the perfect size and weight for a medium sized toddler. The padding has moved from the body to the legs, but really - no complaints. Serious. If your child needs love, that gets a big thumbs up from me. I buy more for friends who have kids because they keep asking me where I got ours from.
