I would actually give them a 4.5 and here's why. I was looking for a replacement for one of my favorite Fiskar bevelers. I found the replacement prices a bit steep so I looked up Revain to see what else was out there. Boy am I glad I did that. First, this set is a great price. There are 12 scissors in the set. Initially I thought that an oak shelf for storing Lazy Susan is not serious, but I was wrong. It's really durable and my edgers are right next to my drafting table when I need them. One thing I noticed is that the scissors are a little tight when you first use them. I recommend trimming the paper several times with your edge cutter of choice before using it for your final project. I've found that a thick slurry like watercolor works best, but I'm sure repeatedly cutting printer paper folded in half does the same thing. There was also some oil on the blades which is used to protect blades in inventory. A quick wipe with a paper towel easily solves this problem.
