Review on πŸŽ’ Marmot Slate Everyday Travel Bag Backpacks for Casual Daypacks with Enhanced SEO by Stephen Zimmer

Simple Casual Backpack

This bag doesn't really offer a lot of space, so it's definitely for the everyday user who doesn't carry a lot. To be honest, it's just a pretty good bag. Instead of a zipper, the top flap is held in place with Velcro. So unless you're concerned about security, I prefer some sort of zipper to close the main compartment. Inside I was very disappointed, it's very small; long backpack, but almost nothing for depth. Once you put your laptop and maybe a book in there, you really don't have room for anything else. The inner compartment has a slot for a laptop and another slot for a tablet (or a thin book). There is also a front pocket with a zip and a key ring. They also have 2 pen loops, multiple card slots, and a fleece-lined cell phone pocket (no zip). Directly between the Velcro is another fleece-lined zippered pocket. On the outside there are two zipped pockets that can be accessed without lifting the top. one on the top flap and the other on the side of the front. Neither of them are very large, but can be used to store quick-access items. There's a water bottle holder on the side that can be left flat so it doesn't protrude and expands to hold a bottle (or umbrella). It is held in place by a small latch at the back. Although there is not really a lot of space, you have a lot of pockets. Otherwise the quality is definitely there and it's built very well, should last you quite a while. But since 18 liters isn't really a lot and other features are fairly minimal, it's overpriced.
