I bought this to install a swing that came with chain and a carabiner hanging hardware. Fortunately I tested the assembly before installing, and found that none of the swing hardware would work with this bracket--the curved metal pieces are too thick. Also, it seemed the paint was likely to chip off with metal hardware, so it is probably better for straps and slings. I looked at new hardware or adapting this, and ended up not using this bracket in the end, but was too late to return it. Now it's a funky paperweight.
