This is a great product but like many other automotive products it takes up valuable space. The manufacturer of this product sent adhesive strips to fix the adapter case somewhere in the car interior near the cigarette lighter socket. like that . . . it is of course to be expected that it will work. Of course it holds up great - as long as the car is not in the sun. We all know that cars get pretty hot in the sun with the windows closed (even when they're open it's just not that hot), so why does the glue they use completely and utterly fail? It's not because there's no glue that doesn't, so they don't have to test it, they don't care - you're adding your justification to that mfg. So here it is for me. The product is excellent. I love the on/off switch and voltage information, but why are they messing around with glue that's not up to the task? Now I have to clean the surfaces in my car of this substance. If you buy this item, remember NOT TO USE ADHESIVE!
