I love this skirt and am so glad I bought it. It fits great and is very comfortable. The waist has lots of elastic in the back and is flat in the front so it stretches and stretches nicely to fit the skirt around your hips and a larger waist, yet still sits nice and flat at the waist. Front. It's not overly lavish, but it's designed to complement the waist. You can pull up the drawstrings on either side of the front so they gather on either side of the front so you can tuck them under a full length petticoat. it's perfectly visible under the skirt, whether you want it to be visible or not. The skirt falls beautifully and is very comfortable to wear. It is well made, durable and washes well. Washed in a bag on a gentle cycle in a typewriter, it turned out perfect. It was a little wrinkled but smoothed out after wearing it for a bit. I ordered XL and wear size 20-22. My waist is 45 inches when I measure it and my hips are 48 inches so I sometimes have a hard time finding things that fit my waist but this is a perfect fit. I would recommend it.
