Review on 🔧 1 Lb. Fixit Sculpt Epoxy Clay - All Purpose Adhesive Kit by Carol Miller

I recently bought a couple of ceramic Christmas trees. The oldest is from 1966, made by my grandmother. One of the branches has broken off over the years and has had a lot of small chips on it. A repair would cost hundreds of dollars for a professional. So I started researching how to fix it myself. I stumbled across this product, compared it to several others and decided to purchase. I'm so glad I did. It was the perfect solution. Please keep in mind that I have no sculpting experience so the sculpting is far from perfect and considering I'm a beginner at best I'm happy with the result. The putty was easy to use. It was easy to mix up (make sure to use equal parts). In fact, I mixed more than I needed. I used a small cup of water to mold once the putty was in place and quickly washed off the excess with plain water. I was afraid it wouldn't stick to the old pottery or the repair wouldn't be strong enough and was shocked to find neither was true. It bonded very well and the repair turned out to be rock solid. If I had more sculpting experience I could have sculpted and sculpted it better and added grooves to match the original, but I was only content to bring it closer. When I was done I used putty again to fix small chips on this and two other trees. This is really a great product.
