Nintendo continues to carry handhelds

Bought for an extended 2 month business trip to multiple countries/states. It was a life saver. Of course it depends on what game you're getting, but as for the device itself, it's excellent. First, it's still quite small. I was expecting it to be bigger (I think I've seen too much of the DS XL) but it fits my hands well and folds up for easy storage in a pants pocket or small outside pocket. The video and audio quality was good and a very decent size despite the small screen size. I've often chosen not to use the 3D feature to save battery, but I don't think that's such a big loss. The screen is sharp and games still look good in 2D. The battery life was decent, and when combined with the Nintendo 3DS USB charging cable (third party - NOT STANDARD, BEWARE) you can charge it on the plane or in the car. is behind the screen. Holding it isn't always comfortable when the game only needs it every now and then, but constantly removing/inserting it is annoying. I'm assuming that was the only place Nintendo could put the stylus, and honestly it's not that big of a deal. Of course you shouldn't lose a star.

Pros
  • Connect to more wireless networks with SpotPass and StreetPass, giving you more exclusive content and connecting you with other Nintendo 3DS users.
Cons
  • Useless features
