The soapy water method didn't work! It was impossible! Then I read other people's reviews here where they used a hand cream that worked in 2 minutes! It was so easy, you just snap it onto the end of the earcup. Put that thing on, it moves pretty easily, use tissue paper to hold it up so it doesn't slip. Then when it's at the end, apply hand cream to half of your hand, keep pushing it down, twist it if it's stuck. It's easy to push and you're done in about 2 minutes, which is about the time it took me for each side.
