I've never owned such a cheap hard drive and never heard of it. After several stress tests and hard drive checks, I entrust my backups to this hard drive. closer to 500GB than it actually is, but for 1/3 the regular price I don't mind. That's 465GB + 110MB used by the system. That doesn't seem like a big deal (unless you had the same issue I did with the other two drives), but I like that the USB connector fits properly and securely into the port. The original disk name was Chinese characters, but renaming the disk takes seconds.
