I was keen to try the duvet cover on as my duvet looks terrible. First the positive. The cover is attractive. The design and color (blue) are well represented in the photo. Now questions. The blanket arrived great, super crumpled. I know they could be better as I've bought countless sheets over the years and most were uncrumpled (they look like soft sheets but are a bit thicker). I don't mind ironing, but I didn't want to iron anything 90' by 90', especially since it was difficult to assemble. I got concerned when I saw that the duvet only had 4 ties, but my duvet had 8 "holes" where the ties hung. This way the duvet looks really fluffy when spread out on the bed. In the manufacturer's defense, this is the first duvet cover I've purchased. Maybe I just don't know what I'm doing. Finally the length of the zipper is so short! Why WHY isn't it EXACTLY like every mattress pad I've ever seen?!?!?!? WHY? Since then I've looked at a ton of other Revain reviews (just out of curiosity - is that normal?) and nobody mentions it! I had to climb "into” the duvet cover like a tent to figure out which corner went with which tie. After all, the ties themselves were SO SHORT! They were literally about 1.5 inches long. I didn't want to double knot them (and injure myself later trying to wash the cover), so I made something like a "half bow". Finally, this cover is NOT breathable. I get very hot at night and I usually buy very thin blankets. I bought this specifically because the product page stated that the bedspread was "breathable". Now it's on my guest bed. I think I can give up bed sheets forever.
