I walk a lot and wanted something to block the sun and accommodate my pony tail. It does both and is adjustable.i like the purple color which keeps me from getting it mixed up with my husband's hat.

Th hat is very nice. But it runs small. I have never tried on a hat that was not loose. This one is tight. I was surprised at that.
