This style is my choice for watches. I used to snap and snap my nails on standard watch clasps, but with this style, you don't have to deal with it. I bought a new one to replace the old one which ended up stretching over time (15 years). For me it's a win-win style. I always have 2 that I alternate between (different colors). UPDATE: I love this style of watch and haven't had an issue with the strap breaking. However, the original battery only lasted 8 months. I replaced it with a brand new battery which lasted less than 3 weeks. This tells me that there is a defect in the manufacture of the watch. I hate that this happens outside the return window because now I have to throw it away and I wasted my money.
