I really wanted to like this carrier. I bought it specifically because he said it was for big cats. I do not agree with this description. I have an 18lb long Ragdoll cat and I was sad to see that she was very cramped in this carrier. On the plus side it is a very well made carrier and I will be using it for vet and groomer visits but keeping it there for a while is out of the question. It should be very tight. Just wanted to let future buyers know to measure your cat's back from shoulders to bottom to make sure it fits. I didn't and I regret buying this model. I would have given five stars for the construction, but deducted one star for the misleading description "for big cats". nope
