I only got the backpack yesterday so haven't been able to use it but it looks solid, well made, probably waterproof, professional looking (not for camping), and looks from how would safely put a laptop. So why the low rating? I was looking for a laptop backpack under $30 that was the closest to the dimensions of my regular free airline personal item (16 x 15 x 7 inches). In this promotional photo of the backpack, it was shown as 17 x 13.5 x 7 inches, but it's actually smaller: 16" x 11.3" x 5" seam to seam. True, it can be packed and stretched , say in width but this will reduce its thickness I'll probably go back and look for another one.
