I've spent many hundreds of dollars on these bricks and think they're great. I first saw them at a local children's museum and have since bought several sets of 48s, 96s and a 192 block. The only difference between the sets (aside from the number of blocks) is that the larger sets always have more plastic windows. My son (he recently turned two) has walked, climbed and crawled on my creations for as long as he could move. Now he can mostly separate the blocks himself, but he can't always move them to the end. They're strong enough to support the weight of a 160-pound adult, and I've even built bridges to stand on by shifting a few sections of PVC. pipes through holes. I highly recommend blocks, but be warned - no matter how many you have, you'll likely find even more amazing designs to build if you had a few more blocks!
