I'm a coffee drinker. For real. So I've tried an alarming number of water pitchers and jugs over the years. Trudeau, Zojirushi (2), Contigo, along with standard marks. You name it and I've tried. This is my first Yeti. If I had known about them beforehand, I would have bought them two or more years ago and I would probably still be wearing them. Pros: I don't have big hands, but they're still easy to hold. The finish isn't slippery so seems to have some traction. Coffee (hot or cold), cider, almost anything stays hot or cold as long as it lasts. It works just as well with iced coffee. It's incredibly easy to clean. The magnets on the lid inspire. The fact that the shutter is removed for cleaning is another minus. The lid is really the only drawback. My husband started laughing at my new coffee mug as soon as he saw the lid. So while washing, he put the lid on, turned it upside down and started shaking it. Luckily the sipper damper was closed. He probably thought he might drop the lid. It's not like this. He lost some water through the sipper, but not as much as he and I thought. He laughed and kept shaking. He overcame the laughter. Now he wants one when it breaks. I noticed that they make an alternative cap for hikers. I wish they made the same cap for mugs. The bottles are really too big or too small for coffee, the main thing is of course. I'm sure I'll be back with another star in a few months. it's fake, it's damn good. But I'm sure it isn't. I hope that this nonsense will be useful to someone. Many Thanks. ๐
