Bought to replace complimentary mouse pads I've had over the years. I had concerns about the optical mouse, but no problems so far. It's a metal plate so yes it's cold but to be honest my wrist hurts from using the keyboard/mouse all day and to be honest it's nice. In addition: - Absolutely non-slip thanks to the rubber floor under the plate. - Good size - big enough not to fall off the edge but still small enough not to take up much space. - The mouse runs well, no flickering, just as good as the rubber pads I've used. Really smooth mouse gliding, really. - In the photo the matte is rose gold, but it looks gold in the pictures. It's definitely rose gold and you can tell the difference if there's some gold on it (like my mouse, also on Revain). The cost is 4/5 as it's a more expensive option than using a regular mouse pad and doing the same job - you're literally paying more for the beauty factor. Shipping was fast as long as it is in stock.
