Improved Instructions Please

I have other Belkin products that I really like, like my pink iPod case, but when I go to bed at night I never forget to put my iPod back in to tuck in its case I've finished reading. I was afraid of scratching the screen. So I've left the plastic wrap on since I got the replacement but my husband kept bullying me and the cat kept trying to rip off the ruffled edges with her teeth. So it's time to try a real screen protector. The instructions for protecting the display are completely inadequate. They are literally: 1. Cleanliness. 2. Peel. 3.Apply. 4. Smooth. Next to each step is a small image that I didn't find useful. Inside the box is a protective film, a white piece of plastic shaped like a credit card, and a black plastic card with a transparent peel-off. So I wiped all fingerprints off the Shummy's screen, no problem. But then I ripped off the clear plastic protection and didn't know which part to attach to the screen. The black plastic is too hard. I've seen scooter apps that protect phones before, so I thought I should use that. Well it was useless as this whole piece was covered in air bubbles when I smoothed it out with the plastic tool. My husband is a techie so I invited him to try it and he did the same as me. I figured I couldn't screw it up any worse so I tried black plastic and you know it worked great! My husband likes it because it blocks the light around the edges of the screen so it doesn't disturb his sleep at night when I'm reading. Now that I've assembled the damn thing properly, it works really well. But I was close to throwing it away before I could put it back together properly.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Can I add something
