The headset is good. In my opinion it is not necessary. I hear where enemies in Call of Duty come from and don't. My only complaint is that the cord for this headset isn't particularly long. So if that bothers you, you can buy another headset. The length of the cord is about (approximately) 4 1/2 feet. The headset is also very comfortable, there are no problems here. Edit: Add 2 1/2 feet to the length of the cable if you are using a computer cable connection for your PC. However, I would have liked the cable to be longer.
