Bought this twice to cover the ethernet cable coming from one end of my small apartment. on the other hand; One piece wasn't enough. It is very difficult to cut with a utility knife due to the beveled top, thick material and dense coil. Expect to go through multiple blades. Even after days of trying to straighten it, it still curled up. The tape that came with the kit didn't stick to the bottom at all, even after cleaning the bottom and underside of the lid. As a result, even after two years, it came off the bottom and the lid is still folded. The tape itself is so thin that it doesn't come off the wooden floor cleanly, but comes off in sticky bits. I soak the remaining strips of tape in wood cleaner before scraping them off and throwing them away forever. An unpopular opinion, but after cutting the cable, aligning it for a few days, and trying to step over it for two years, I'd rather tell someone to tape the cables than buy this case.
