Purchased December 2014. Loved the watch. Solid, feels good. However: last month (8 months of use) the watch strap simply fell apart on one of the links. I emailed Invicta support and after only a week and a half wait I was told a replacement strap would cost $48 ($40 + $8 shipping). Hoping they just misunderstood the issue, I logged onto the Invicta warranty page and attempted to open the warranty card. With the exception of ANY watch-related services, a minimum "shipping and handling" fee of $28.00 applies. This is a $65 watch. I didn't expect to be able to pass this on to my grandkids or anyone else but figured I would get at least one working watch for at least 3-5 years. Breaking a watch in less than a year and saying I have to spend 75% of the original purchase price to fix it is ridiculous.
