Really good freezer - not so good Revain Handling

This review is being edited after our first foray into the freezer to review the freezer itself. I'll check: Overall impression: Works well so far in my living room Real life temperature holding capacity: TBD Noise level in tent trailer: TBD I only have 1 battery and a 1-100w solar panel. The immediate impression is good. It's been running in my living room for about 72 hours now and has stayed at 10 degrees without any problems. The noise level is very tolerable. I rarely notice this when watching TV, except when I'm starting a cycle. Like any compressor freezer, it makes a faint rattle as the gas is compressed and begins its journey through the coils. after half a minute it calms down and it's really just a whisper. It worked fine on the first ride, except I forgot to fully charge the battery so we had to turn the freezer off early, but my goodness it's held up pretty well as just a cooler. The second trip last Labor Day weekend was a complete success. The AstroAI freezer did everything it promised. We started with the fact that it was nice and cold at home a few days earlier. I packed all my food in it early Friday morning. Frozen steaks, sliced pork and a bunch of veggies tossed into salad and sandwiches in the fridge, 3 gallon bags of ice cubes to use for drinks and a special surprise for my wife. I added 1/2 gallon chocolate chip ice cream. Load the device into the back of the 4Runner, which features a 12 volt outlet, and set off on our 4-day zero-electricity shore-based weekend trip. The freezer is installed in our pop-up trailer right next to our front bed and believe me the noise level has never put us off. In fact, we both noticed that he was very quiet and barely noticeable. The freezer was 9 degrees all weekend. On Saturday and Sunday the ice was frozen, on Monday it was gone :) . Every ice cube that I've packed and haven't used in drinks goes on my next trip without melting. We have the 55L model. It's big, so big I would say it's more like a family of 4. The power consumption was so low that most of the time on Sunday my battery was fully charged with just a 100W solar panel. I turned on the freezer in ECO mode at 9 degrees. Full Disclosure I have a very large 200Ah LIFePo4 battery that can run the freezer all weekend without solar power. We also turned on the lights, charged appliances, pumped water etc. The freezer is fantastic, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good, quiet, low power unit. I can't tell you anywhere how badly they handled this item. The box is labeled "THIS SIDE UP" and "FRAGILE". Pretty standard for any fridge/freezer. The compressor needs oil to stay in place. The thing came to me upside down. Without blaming the driver, the damn shipping label was on the bottom of the box! I'm guessing this thing was lying upside down in storage too. And the unit was late. It took 2 extra days and all I can think of for this delay is that it was also marked as "Oversized Delivery" so obviously had to wait for a special driver or truck or who knows. All I know is that it took me 4 days to do about 100 miles. I left the device right side up for 28 hours before starting it to be extra careful. I hope you find this review helpful. I bought this machine with the intention of using it. This is not a freebie review.
