After switching from iPad Air 2 to iPad Pro 11 inch, I realized that there weren't many options for new hardware. wanted something. The way the stand is held in place with a magnet makes it a little awkward to install, but it stays secure once installed. Eyes like the keyboard of my MBP 2011. It's not very intuitive how to change colors, but it's not hard either. The ability to change three zones independently is why. This increases the learning curve, but it's severe. The keys themselves feel good, move predictably, and don't impede touch typing. Now if only they could figure out how to access the power ports on an iPad Pro like the Apple Keyboard Case does. Maybe I'll be a little surprised for the next release that the package doesn't come with a short USB-C to USB micro cable to charge the keyboard directly from the iPad. This is just my opinion on the matter, otherwise it doesn't detract from the value of this article. The cover itself is easy to assemble and closes well. I'm cautiously optimistic about the keyboard pads, which will stand up to the iPad's glass and protect it from the wear and tear of the road. The time will tell. The way the keyboard detaches and re-attaches from the case is interesting, and as long as the materials remain flexible they work well. This is another issue for me, but after the case has been on the road for a year or two before I can give a good opinion on its durability. The only downside is that it works with the 2nd generation Apple Pencil. The recess at the top of the case holds the pencil securely. It even allows the pencil to be charged. This prevents the pen from getting stuck. You must remove the case from the top edge of your iPad each time you need to connect the stylus. That's really the only negative I have for the product. Inexpensive, I can recommend.
