These winter pants are nice and thick, they fit my 5 year old daughter well (size 5/6) and have plenty of room to grow. The adjustable waste band turned out to be very comfortable as it is thin. I was a little apprehensive about buying winter pants instead of bibs, but now I'm very happy with that decision. They don't sit directly on her thigh, they go up to her belly button so I don't have to worry about snow getting in easily. I definitely recommend them.
