This toothbrush is just right for my mouth and the bristles are just right for me as I used to use a toothbrush that advertised whitening. which made my teeth sensitive. It must have been the star bristle material that irritated my teeth combined with the fact that my dentist says I brush too hard. I noticed a difference as soon as I started brushing with this product. I'm also using Sensodyne again because I thought my teeth had become sensitive overnight and didn't even think to attribute it to another toothbrush I've just used. Some reviewers have stated that the bristles on the Preserve toothbrush are either too soft or too hard. I think it depends on your history with toothbrushes. I find bristles perfect for me and my cleaning habits.
