These caps are very beautiful and durable. The only problem with them is that the collar surrounding the socket is much larger than the standard socket. Tested on 4 different sockets. Finally I added a small strip of rubber around the collar and was able to tighten the screws just enough (fully tightened) to hold the cage in place. Otherwise they are exactly what I was looking for. After solving the sizing issue, I had no problems. Will definitely buy again for my next lighting project. Everyone who sees them asks where to buy them. Another thing to note is that if you are using a standard Edison bulb it will reach the end of the cage when closed. When you open the cage, part of the bulb sticks out.
