ATTENTION! I received my Hanns HW191D monitor over a month ago. At the moment I'm not getting the 1440x900 resolution. After searching several forums and following the suggested steps and downloading the driver directly from Hanns website, it still doesn't convert to that resolution. Also, the screen layout is marginal and very confusing as NO INSTRUCTIONS are given as to which buttons do what and how to use them and in what order. Finally, the forum suggested updating the bios, which I will do in the next few days. This is an additional, unforeseen cost and a dangerous maneuver. If something goes wrong, my computer's functionality will be destroyed. You will never be able to use it again. This is buying computer time. My computer is not garbage. It's a Pentium 3, but 933MHz, 100GHD and 1GB of memory. To be honest as I write this I'm wondering why I didn't send it back. A few bucks more for an easier-to-use monitor would be worth the effort.
