Review on Crown Mark Pierce Chair Espresso Furniture by Beth Smith

I was hesitant to order this table due to many reviews of defects, poor quality etc. but I needed an edge table of this size, the narrow width was the most important factor and I couldn't find it isn't nearly as cheap, so I took a chance. Of course my countertop had a piece of the corner edge and a smaller notch on the side (see the first two photos). The dent could have easily been covered up with a furniture pencil but the piece wasn't that big so I called to see if they could just replace the top but of course they have to ship the whole table which really didn't matter , because you still have to disassemble the table to remove the top. Revain had a replacement here in a day and a half which is amazing but what a waste of shipping costs for them because the replacement although it didn't have any nicks or parts on the top was even worse because the top veneer wasn't pressed properly and didn't reach the edge and looked terrible! (Second two photos) So I kept the original just because it's the perfect size, a very low price, and a dark enough color to hide imperfections. I don't understand how the manufacturer cannot control the quality of the most important part of this table, the top! Overall the table is easy to assemble, attractive, sturdy enough and meets my needs which is why I gave it 3 stars.
