Review on 🧵 Brushed Pearl Fold Quilt Binding by Sasha Hsiao

I used to buy a popular brand quilt harness. It was shimmery and I wanted a more shimmery texture for the piping on my vintage quilts (grandma made them). I saw this and thought it would fit the project and it would be better. My previously purchased mount listed the width as 2 inches. I figured buying a 2 inch bead would be equivalent. To my surprise it is half the width and doesn't work for my project. I'm new to sewing so maybe I should have looked more closely at the description. I am disappointed in my purchase. Update 3/2/18: I previously gave 2 stars because I felt that the description was unclear at the time. I've been using this product for accents in pillowcases ever since. I don't need to cut or iron my pieces. The roll lasts a long time. This is a good time saver for this purpose. I will buy again!
