Review on Go Pet Club Tree 35 Inch by Dominic Maxwell

I bought this on purpose because I have a very big cat. He usually scrapes a shelf in the garage and his marks go up to 40 inches. When I saw the picture of this cat tree I immediately thought that the base looks too small for such a height but I figured there must be some trick i.e. a metal base plate or something else to hold it. Had not. It's not just a wooden base, it comes in two pieces that are attached with a couple of thin nails. Everything wobbles uncomfortably. I ended up putting a heavy bookshelf in a corner to support my cat's weight. Another problem is that "irresistible sisal fabric" is not very interesting to my cat. He dutifully scratched the thing a few times, but then came back and whimpered at the garage door to get to his shelf. waste of money on my part.
