I've worn Stafford shirts for decades but now I'm getting fat and can't find them in the new size I need 18.5/36 -37. So I ordered this shirt and had high hopes for it as it looked good in the photos. I washed it before wearing, hoping the heavy packaging creases would iron out in the washer and dryer like my Staffords always do, but it didn't. I had to iron shirts for the first time in over 10 years. However, I was willing to live with the ironing, but wore a new shirt to a conference after the first day. I was confused. I found that it has 8 buttons instead of the 9 buttons that the Stafford shirt has, so the space between each button is a half inch larger than the Stafford shirt. Due to the greater distance between the buttons, the shirt would unbutton, revealing my white t-shirt every time I sat down. For me this was a complete no-no as I ordered a larger size so the buttons wouldn't stretch my tummy. Also, the shirt I ordered was called "Design by Williams" but when it arrived it was called "Retro Paris".
