I have worked for HP as an electronics/compliance engineer in the LaserJet testing lab for many years, so I am familiar with these printers. Although I've only had these toner cartridges for a few days, I haven't noticed any difference in print quality compared to HP, despite being significantly cheaper. There were no print artifacts from cheap or scratched drums. Can't comment on cartridge life yet, although I can afford a shorter life at this price point. Any color difference (I haven't tried much with photos yet) can usually be fixed in the printer's configuration. While I've never agreed to the third-party cartridge auto-demotion policy (determined by the chip inside the cartridge), I haven't come across it yet. Printers make money from ink and toner, not printers, and more from ink than toner. I think I need to run some tests. I was a bit reluctant to buy third party toners but am very pleasantly impressed.
