DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I've seen reviews saying the metal on these belly button rings is questionable and causes many allergic reactions, but decided to give it a try anyway. Boy was I wrong. I had to go to the doctor because I had such a high fever from an infection I had contracted. I almost had to go to the emergency room - my doctor told me that if my temperature went up even one degree, I would have to go. There was a sharp pain in my stomach, it was red, INCREDIBLY swollen, pus, everything. I was particularly upset because I was told to keep the piercing closed to prevent further infection and after having my stomach pierced for 5 years I was very upset to learn that something 'cute' was the reason would be for this / cheap body jewelry. . I have used many belly button rings and never had a problem. Don't take any chances with this product - the pain I felt wasn't worth it. Throw them all away, it's not surgical steel as advertised.
