Review on πŸ“Έ Upgraded ProDot Shutter Button for Custom SLR Cameras (Red, 2 Pack) - Ideal Soft Release Button Alternative for Enhanced Photography by Cody Clark

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I've decided against this being the focus - like "back button focus " - by taking the focus from the .

At any time he first moves and then falls over. I have a Panasonic Fz2500 with a small rounded function button on top and near the shutter button. I gave up on this to make it my focus - like "Back Button Focus" - by separating the focus from the trigger, but I prefer it right next to the trigger. The ProDot idea is good. When I first put it on, it increased the height of the share button, making it easier to find with my finger when looking through the viewfinder. The red color also helps the focus button stand out against the black camera background. But after a while it starts to slip and poof - it's gone. I even used a sander to give the new concave ProDot a matte finish and then added some glue to make it fit the pany knob. Some time works, moves and falls. I don't want to use anything more permanent like epoxy that can damage the plastic of the camera. Didn't spend many dollars on it, but I suggest you give it up.
