I was arguing between 3 and 4 stars, I'll explain why. I would only give them 3 stars because they fit well, look good and are actually polarized as advertised. However, the polarization seems to differ slightly with the angle. If you look at a car window (or any other glare) you'll usually see where the polarization is at work, and if you tilt your head to one side you'll see the glare coming back, which is normal. My problem was that my originals had a much larger "head tilt" range over which polarization was effective. These lenses seem to have a narrower range, which I think is probably because the polarization is tilted slightly down towards the nose. If the angle was more horizontal and aligned with the horizon, I think they would be fine. Oakley's website claims that their lenses are better in one respect, because they make both lenses at the same time from the same material, while "the other guys" make them separately, so Oakley's are a perfect match and others aren't. Maybe it's related to that or maybe it's just marketing hype and the problem lies with something else. Anyway, the polarization range on these lenses is definitely a bit less than my originals, but thanks for looking exactly the same and still offering polarization. One more weird thing, as far as I can tell it didn't affect anything but they sound kind of empty compared to my originals. I don't know why, they still seem solid, maybe they can break easily or something, but it was so worth mentioning.. Still, I put an extra star because these were the only lenses from other manufacturers that used the same font and The curvature of the engraving is "Polarized" so they definitely look the same as the originals. To me they are more than just 'good', they are good replacements and good value for money. Conclusion: If you want lenses that look exactly like the originals and don't mind the slightly smaller polarization range, then it's worth it. With that in mind, I think Oakley is worth it for the extra polarization range, but you'll pay for it too.
