I've been wearing the classic Kenneth Cole reaction shirts for years. While not skin tight, they are certainly thinner than regular fit shirts. Knowing this about the brand, I figured I'd risk it too. I'm sorry to say that they look more like regular fit shirts than slim fit shirts. However, $12 for a shirt is worth it if you have a good tailor who can make a few (or many) of them. Fit aside, they are well built and should last a while. I didn't notice any slight wrinkles. They stay crisp, just wish they were a little thinner out of the box.
